INCA JUNGLE TO MACHU PICCHU 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS

DAY 1: CUSCO – ABRA MALAGA – SANTA MARIA

We will pick you up at the hotel around 07:00, and take our transportation through the Sacred Valley for about 04 hours and a half to the Abra Malaga where we will start biking. We will descend with the bikes for approximately 02 hours and a half, making stops along the way where our guide will explain us about the flora until we arrive to Huamanmarca. We will leave the bikes there and take a mini-van to Santa Maria. Along the day we will have the opportunity to appreciate the cloud forest vegetation until arriving to Santa Maria where we will spend the night in lodging.  Optional: river rafting in the afternoon after lunch

DAY 2: SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA

After breakfast we will start our walk for about 08 or 09 hours between ascents and declines, observing a wide range of vegetation and crossing typical towns of the area. We will also have the opportunity to walk part of the Inca Trail perfectly preserved while our guide explains about it. We will also see wildlife and different kinds of birds, to arrive later at the thermal baths of Cocalmayo (optional entrance: 5 s./ extra). After a relaxing bath we will arrive in Santa Teresa where we will spend the night.

DAY 3: SANTA TERESA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES

After breakfast we will start a walk for about 03 hours, where we will appreciate some fruit crops and waterfalls until arriving at the Hidroelectrica where we will have lunch and then walk for 3 more hours along the railroad on our way to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the third night. Optional: zip lining in the morning.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

It is the most special day because we will finally visit Machu Picchu. We have to start walking around 04:30, after breakfast, for about 01 hour and a half to Machu Picchu, about 400 meters of ascent through a footpath. Once there the guide will take you to the famous place where you can take the classic picture and afterwards you will have a guided visit for 02 hours and a half.
